Blue Skies!

In this week's lesson, the topic comes from Noah and the covering of the ark. The narrative shows that the covering protected him and his family through the turmoils of life as they were brought through the great flood. The sin of disembodied spirits infected the human race with sexual immoralities that led to wickedness throughout the whole earth. There was procreation of demon giants in land and the hearts of the human race was wicked beyond return. Their disobedience exceeded them, but one man and his family was saved from complete annihilation. Noah's obedience helped him to find favor with God. Noah and his family obeyed God's calling to build an ark by faith, because they believed God's Word through Noah.

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith (NKJV, Heb. 11:7). The Apostle Peter said, "the Divine who waited in the days of Noah so that He would save eight souls through water (NKJV, 1 Pet. 3:20)." The water is figurative considering the great flood that covered the whole earth. The water is also symbolic as Jesus said, "you are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you (NKJV, Jn. 15:7)."

The covering by an ark protected Noah and his family through deep waters. The day came for blue skies that helped those saved to see the light upon God's Word. The Word of God is inspired and comes alive once it is illuminated in the heart that believes. By Noah believing by faith, it in-turn helped to sanctify and encourage his family to believe and move with godly fear too. The process unto repentance begins by allowing God to sanctify people within influences by God fearing people. The eternal God draws people to the Father through His Son our hope of salvation that causes our measure of faith in our spirit man to be moved by the Spirit of God.

The Old Testament was a shadow of things to come and the Kingdom reality of the New Testament is that Jesus is our covering ark in His righteousness. The Word of God can sanctify a lost soul, thereby, justifying a sinner in the blood of Jesus Christ through the washing of God's Word. Once a person is saved then they become a part of the regeneration nation and then work within the Spirit, from glory to glory. The sanctification, in justification, causes regeneration that works the Kingdom reality glorification.

Jesus' righteous covering is pure. Once a sinner repents then their dirty covering is removed and rendered unto Jesus. What happens next is that Jesus takes his righteous covering and covers the saved in His righteousness and applies the dirty covering unto himself. Once applied, then sin is removed and remembered no more by God the Father. The sin is blotted out and all the Father sees is His Son's blood of righteous covering. "Look up and repent, for blue skies means better has come."
